using the guides and tools
You may read the guides, use the tools and adapt the templates for your own work and inside your company, free of charge. You may quote short passages with a link to the source page. Please don't republish whole guides, sell them, or present them as your own work.
what the material is not
The guides are general information about selling cybersecurity, markets and regulation, as of the date on each page. They are not legal, tax or financial advice and don't create an advisory relationship. Directives bind member states: the obligations that apply to your organisation come from your national law, and only the official texts are binding. Check the primary sources cited before you act, and ask your own lawyer about your situation.
numbers and sources
Every number on this site comes with its source, and numbers from vendor surveys are marked as such. Observations from my own work are labelled as mine. When I find a mistake, I correct the page and say so.
tools
The calculators run in your browser and start with illustrative numbers, not market data. Their results are only as good as the inputs, and they are provided as they are, without any promise that they fit your case.
paid work
Paid work described on work with me is agreed in a separate written agreement. Where that agreement and this page differ, the agreement applies.
